Bricks In The Wall

Day after day, I sit here alone               Sanity

Caught up in my madness,

Can never go home.

Being ill inside my head,

Often, I’d rather be dead.

But off to the doctor,

Whose ideas are great,

But actually go nowhere,

Told “No” instead.

All to make sure,

That I don’t run off course.

Sanity goes, sanity returns,

But what is really learned?

Pushed aside, added to the pile,

Going to be sitting here for a while.

Just like all the others who call,

We’re all just bricks in the wall.

  1. I “liked” this but what i meant is that you put it so well. It is a very lonely post. I wish you peace on your journey. You can get through this but it takes time.

    1. I know this, and the best way for me to get it out into the open and deal with it, is through my writing. Thank you for your comment.
