Madness Has Arrived

It crept in quite suddenly,
As silent as this chair that she’s sitting in,
She’s not sure where it’s settling,
But yes, she knows it’s there.

It takes over ever so slowly,
Has an effect as soon as it starts.
It gets to where it molds her,
Into something she doesn’t like.

Soon she loses all control,
Who knows what she might say or do,
It no longer stays quietly,
Taking over all the cognitive matter,

She no longer controls her brain,
It goes where ever it likes,
Changing her into someone,
I don’t even know her name.

This ache grows in my chest,
Threatening to burst out,
I don’t want to think of bad things,
I shouldn’t stay here alone.

Look out, because it is coming!

Talk to me, I'd love to hear what you have to say.
